Common Ground January 19

Jesus used ordinary little things like seeds and yeast to teach us that though we may be but ordinary little people in a world that feels huge and extraordinarily perilous at times, there is power in the persistence of little things simply doing what they were created to do. There is power in ordinary people simply being the good people they were created to be. Come join us this Thursday, January 19th – the night before the presidential inauguration, to consider these symbols of hope and resilience. May our time together help us find the hope we need to thrive in the days to come.

“We like things to manifest right away, and they may not. Many times, we’re just planting a seed and we don’t know exactly how it is going to come to fruition. It’s hard for us to realize that what we see in front of us might not be the end of the story.” Sharon Salzberg
