Adult Education
At First Churches, we strive to provide an environment where community members of all ages can learn and grow in their faith. We offer several programs for adults who are hoping to learn in community with one another, and deepen their commitment to Christian faith and social justice.
Bible Study
Our regular weekly Bible study, led by Pastor Sarah, meets at 1pm on Mondays in the Fleming-Ives Parlor. All are welcome to join us to discuss the lectionary scripture for the upcoming Sunday service.
First Churches Library

Our newly established church library is filled with theological and social justice texts recommended by church members and curated by our library team. You are welcome to browse our selection and take a book home with you to read! The library shelf is located in the Fleming-Ives Parlor. We just ask you to fill out the notebook located near the shelf with your name, contact information, and which book(s) you are checking out so that we can keep track of library usage.
Intermittent Book Groups
First Churches regularly has new book groups arise, led by church members and based on congregational interest. Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date about opportunities to join these groups.
